Exploring modular content design with Co-op

Modular content involves breaking down content into smaller blocks or modules that teams can use across various channels, and for different audiences.

We’re at the start of our journey with modular content. Our future vision is that everyone at Co-op has access to modular content around key products and services. This workshop includes tools to help you to introduce modular content to your organisation at a practical level.

We’ll share ideas from our work with modular content at Co-op, including:

  • how modular content works
  • the benefits of using modular content, including consistency, saving time and reducing costs
  • the results from our discovery and initial trials on modular content
  • the challenges we’ve faced

 

In the workshop: We’ll take you through a modular content canvas so that you can explore ways you could approach modular content in your organisation.

There are often challenges to using modular content, especially in large organisations with lots of different teams. We’ll have open discussions around barriers, and support each other with ideas around how to navigate around problems.

Outcomes: We’ll share our vision and encourage you to take away lots of enthusiasm and resources on how to make content more consistent, helpful, and human, where you are.
