Code of Conduct

At Camp Digital, we aim to provide a welcoming environment that is memorable for all the right reasons, and our Code of Conduct applies to all community spaces, both in-person and online. Our event has inclusivity at its very heart, and this centres around treating all individuals with respect and tolerance, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, ethnicity or religious views. While we are not responsible for the views of others presented or expressed at the event, we have taken care to screen, guide and curate speakers and their presentations, such that they adhere to our ethos, code of conduct and T&Cs.

Please be kind, considerate and tolerant of one another, even if you don’t necessarily agree with the views being expressed. Please treat each other as you would expect and wish to be treated. Harassment of any kind, either in person or through social media, will not be tolerated at Camp Digital. This includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.

We're proud of the environment that we've created at our Camp Digital events. We have a track record and reputation for being welcoming and friendly. However, if you do have a problem, see that someone else is having a problem, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of Nexer staff immediately and we’ll take the necessary steps to resolve the issue hastily and properly. Anyone who is asked to stop any harassing or inappropriate behaviour, of any kind, must immediately comply. If someone engages in any of this behaviour, we may take any action we deem appropriate, which could include formally warning the offender as to their conduct or immediately asking the offender to leave the Camp Digital event, with no refund.

Terms and Conditions

PAYMENT

Once you have registered for the in-person or online event and we have received cleared funds through the online registration page or invoice, you shall be entitled to participate fully in your chosen event, including social event(s) (where arranged) for the day(s) you have booked.

Both in person and livestream attendees will receive a full programme. Please note that attendance of some presentations may be subject to room capacity so don’t forget to consult the programme ahead of the day.

Attendees will be offered lunch, tea / coffee and refreshments on arrival and at scheduled breaks throughout the day.

The event venue offers free Wi-Fi but this is the responsibility of the venue to manage during the event.

You acknowledge and agree that you are responsible for arranging and paying for your own accommodation, travel and other expenses connected with attending the event.

If you wish to cancel your booking, you can either transfer your ticket to a colleague or friend without any charge, if you can provide their details. Beyond that, our preference is to offer you a place on a future Nexer event rather than provide a refund, which will only be given in exceptional circumstances, at our discretion and no later than 20 days before the event. Your payment details are dealt with by our third-party supplier, Eventbrite, and we would only have access to this information in the instance of a refund, and your personal information will not be kept on file.

DATA POLICY

We will hold the information you provide when booking for administrative purposes. This may include personal information such as contact details but it will only be retained by Nexer and used for communication purposes for the planned event.

We will contact you before and after the event with updates and to request your feedback. For online attendees, we will contact you in the run-up to the event with instructions on how to access the live stream. This may include changes to the programme, so you are advised to check spam/junk folders for ongoing event updates.

On booking, you consent to the use of your personal information for the purposes described above. You can at any time withdraw this consent by emailing us at hello@nexerdigital.com or from unsubscribing from future newsletters.

THE EVENT

We reserve the right to vary the event programme at any time, subject to speaker availability, room capacity and our ongoing event curation.

We are not responsible for the views or opinions expressed by speakers, sponsors, or other participants although we encourage all to follow our code of conduct and T&Cs.

Photography and filming will occur throughout the event and your image may appear on social media or post-event marketing material. If this is of concern to you, please email the team at hello@nexerdigital.com.

If the performance of our obligations as set out in these Conditions shall be delayed by an event beyond our reasonable control, we reserve the right to suspend without liability further performance of our obligations until such time as the cause of delay no longer exists.

CANCELLATION
If the event is cancelled due to events beyond our reasonable control or as a result of a Nexer business decision, full refunds will be issued to all ticket holders.
