We’re pleased to share that we’ve been awarded Umbraco Platinum Contributing Partner for 2025, the sixth consecutive year we’ve been recognised for our contributions to the CMS.

This recognition reflects the sustained, practical work our team continues to contribute to the Umbraco community across accessibility, sustainability, technical expertise, events and knowledge sharing. As a longstanding Umbraco Platinum Partner, community involvement has long been central to our relationship with the platform and something we actively prioritise across our development team and other teams.

Active contribution to community teams

Our team remains actively involved in Umbraco’s community ecosystem, with senior practitioners contributing both their time and expertise to Accessibility and Sustainability initiatives. We do our best to ensure colleagues have dedicated time to take part, including attending Community Day visits, contributing to discussions and roadmap development, and supporting the organisation of communityled events. This approach allows our people to engage meaningfully and helps ensure community work leads to practical outcomes.

Driving forward accessibility at Umbraco

Danny Lancaster, Umbraco MVP and member of the Community Accessibility Guild, plays an active role in supporting accessibility across the platform. In 2025, our contribution deepened when we were engaged by Umbraco HQ to carry out a comprehensive automated and manual audit of the back-office interface against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level ‘AA’ and accessibility best practice.

We delivered a detailed accessibility report with severity ratings, annotated screenshots and clear remediation recommendations, followed by a walkthrough session with HQ. Alongside this work, our team also supported discussions around the European Accessibility Act 2025, helping teams better understand its implications for the CMS and future compliance requirements.

Sustainability leadership within the Umbraco community

Sustainability remains another area where our team contributes consistently.

Amy Czuba is a member of the Umbraco Community Sustainability Team and was recognised as an MVP for her contributions in both 2024 and 2025. The team’s work has included the development of a sustainability best practice guide for developers and the launch of the Umbraco Sustainability Challenge.

In May 2025, Amy also spoke at the Umbraco Sustainability Webinar, alongside Mike Berners-Lee, helping the community explore lowcarbon digital practices and more sustainable approaches to building digital services.

Events, talks and ongoing community presence

We continue to enthusiastically support and contribute to Umbraco community events throughout the year.

Members of our development and accessibility team again played a central role in UMBRAAD, contributing to planning, delivery and community engagement for this flagship accessibility event.  MVP Rachel Breeze also supported Umbraco in the City: Manchester, helping with organising, planning, hosting and followup community content.

Across the year, our team also hosted at Umbraco Spark, spoke at DKFest, and UMBRAAD covering topics such as accessibility, sustainability and mental health. Simon Wissink and Dave Brislane also attended the official Umbraco Partner Summit in Manchester to discuss all things Umbraco, catch up with the team, and learn more about what the future of the platform looks like.

Knowledge sharing and collaboration

Our team contributes written content and guidance that supports the wider Umbraco ecosystem. This includes articles and insights referenced within Umbraco partner and sales materials, as well as participation in communityled knowledge sharing initiatives.

Looking ahead

In 2026, we’re focused on widening participation in the Umbraco community by supporting more junior and mid‑level team members to get involved. Senior practitioners are actively mentoring colleagues to submit talks, take part in meetups, contribute to community teams and engage more closely with the platform’s development. This includes continuing our accessibility audit work with further reviews of the Umbraco CMS.

We’ll also continue to push beyond standard website builds, with a focus on data‑driven design, personalisation and AI, using tools like Umbraco Engage to optimise user engagement and drive conversions.

We’re excited to begin implementing solutions for our clients using Umbraco’s latest offering, Compose. Compose is a data orchestration platform that brings together data from your CMS, PIM, CRM, ERP and DAM, translating it into a single, streamlined, headless API output.

Our renewal as an Umbraco Contributing Partner for 2025 reflects the ongoing commitment of our team and our belief in open, collaborative and responsible digital practice. We’re proud to continue supporting the Umbraco community and contributing to a more inclusive and sustainable digital landscape.
