Accessibility and inclusion

We make sure the benefits of the web are accessible to everyone. Our team helps organisations embed accessibility into products, services, and culture through audits, training, and strategic consultancy.

Accessibility is good for people and good for business. In the UK, around 24% of people have a disability, and the Purple Pound, the spending power of disabled people and their families, is worth £446 billion annually. By prioritising accessibility, you improve user experience, strengthen loyalty, and unlock market potential.

Our mission is to help our clients achieve their accessibility goals and create products and services with users at their heart.

As your accessibility partner, our consultants help you to identify opportunities to improve accessibility in your digital products and services, raise awareness in your teams, drive inclusive culture, and support your organisation to take the next steps on its accessibility journey.

Why does digital accessibility matter?

Accessibility isn't just a legal requirement; it's a fundamental right. In the UK, approximately 24% of people have a disability, and at some point, we all experience an access need. And it's not just about compliance.

The Purple Pound, the spending power of disabled people and their families, is worth £446 billion annually. Accessible design improves satisfaction, loyalty, and business success while creating a more inclusive world.

What is the European Accessibility Act (EAA)?

The European Accessibility Act (EAA) is now in effect. Under the Act, all organisations operating within the European Union (EU) must ensure their products and services are accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. It also applies to organisations based outside the EU that offer services within member countries.

The EAA covers a wide range of products and services, including computers, operating systems, ATMs, ticketing machines, smartphones, TV equipment, telephony services, audio-visual media services, transport services, banking services, e-books, and e-commerce platforms.
